The back stage presence of footballer Yoann Gourcuff, certainly proved this Cycling shorts have invaded the catwalk, combined with a short jacket, livened up in neoprene, or a suit jacket rolled up at the sleeves. The blend of colours is once again a success, with shades of mustard yellow, kaki, green and plum. Ribbed fabrics with a sheen effect certainly add an edge to this collection! Fashion show music

- IT was bright, bright, bright from Paul Helbers at Louis Vuitton this afternoon. Yellow, orange and white opening looks made for one of the most summery collections we've seen on the Paris menswear catwalks so far before a more sedate colour palette of mauve, taupe, maroon and grey took over. Smart sportswear was the name of the game with emphasis on shorts and shirts, finished off with a neat jacket or layered with a cardigan.
